Huron Community Bank Welcomes First Federal of Oscoda Customers!

PENDING REGULATORY APPROVAL

As you are aware, in September, Huron Community Bank entered into an agreement with First Federal of Northern Michigan to acquire all deposits and certain loans from its branch banking office located at 201 N. State Street, Oscoda, Michigan.

Pending Regulatory Approval, our goal is to make your banking transition from First Federal of Oscoda to Huron Community Bank as seamless as possible. Please review the Frequently Asked Questions below. We invite you to visit any Huron Community Bank branch or contact us at (888) BANK-HCB (226-5422) if you have any additional needs.

When will my new HCB account be opened?

Huron Community Bank and First Federal of Oscoda are working together to transition your account(s) in the first quarter of 2018. First Federal of Oscoda will continue to service your banking needs until Regulatory Approval is received. After Regulatory Approval is received, a Huron Community Bank team member will call you to provide notification and answer any questions that you may have.

Will I keep my current account number after the transition?

Huron Community Bank's goal is to retain your existing account number. If for any reason your account number changes, you will be notified in advance.

Will I get new checks?

Yes, Huron Community Bank will provide a starter set of checks to you for free. The checks will be ordered and mailed to you after Regulatory Approval is received.

Will I get a new debit card?

Yes, if applicable, Huron Community Bank will provide a new debit card. The debit card will be ordered and mailed to you after Regulatory Approval is received.

Will I receive a new loan coupon book, if applicable?

Yes! Huron Community Bank will mail a new coupon book to you. You may also setup automatic loan payments using a deposit account. Please continue to make loan payments to First Federal until you are notified from Huron Community Bank that Regulatory Approval was received.

Will I be able to use Online Banking?

Absolutely, Huron Community Bank offers a rich Online Banking environment that allows you to view your account information including balances, transactions, electronic statements, and cleared checks. You can perform transfers to internal and external accounts; and even pay your bills. If you elect to also use our Mobile Banking App (IOS and Android) you can even deposit checks using your smartphone's built in camera. Click Here to find out more about our Online Banking Service.

Where are you located?

Our Oscoda Branch Office is located at 5077 North US-23, Oscoda, MI 48750 (Across from McDonalds on US-23). We also have locations in East Tawas, Tawas City, Harrisville, Lincoln, AuGres and West Branch. Our experienced and friendly branch teams are looking forward to being of service to you!
